Bringing Holistic Healthcare to the Workplace

At natural therapies we have developed a corporate benefit scheme for local organisations based in and around Weybridge. A growing number of major employers such as Tesco’s, Natwest, Railtrack and BT offer their staff access to complementary therapies. Rarely does one find the full range of therapies offered as an integral part of an employer’s occupational health provision. At natural therapies clinic we have a wide selection of therapies ranging from Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Massage, Bowen Technique, Shiatsu, Herbal Medicine, holistic nutritional therapy and Homeopathy.

There are over 14 therapies in all, all our therapists are fully qualified, insured and registered with their various governing bodies, and we work alongside occupational health staff within companies to develop a package which is unique to that organisation.

FACT: The H.S.E (Health and safety executive) demonstrated that musculo-skeletal disorders in particular back-pain and RSI (repetitive strain injury) and stress are the most common cause of short to mid-term absenteeism among staff. As for long term sick leave, stress is now the largest single cause, with an estimated cost to the economy in lost production of 6 billion each year.

  • work involving intensive use of the telephone without headsets, causing neck problems
  • keyboard work and RSI
  • prolonged sitting whilst at work, causing postural discomfort, neck, back and pelvic restrictions
  • VDU use, without regular breaks, causing headaches and postural discomfort
  • Strip lighting, causing headaches and visual disturbances
  • High pace/tight deadlines creating stress response from individuals

A Solution

At natural therapies we welcome forming close relationships with employers, we can offer easy access to services which will help reverse / combat these trends. A simple accessible service has been designed.

How it Works

An agreement of service level is reached which means you tell us which services you are interested in –eg Osteopathy or massage and so on. The service is purchased on an annual basis with a 6 monthly review/enhancement, so we can monitor uptake and effectiveness. The O/T divisions are then given a code, which when employees book in they quote. That's it.
